Mark, thanks for trying to get a total of the euro 308's in the states. Years ago, I asked Wade (308 registry) if he knew the answer and he did not know. I have always wanted to know the answer to this question.

You're welcome. I'm curious too. I've got a list right now of 85 chassis numbers from submissions in this thread, Wade's Registry, and searching through FChat. I want to scrutinize it some more before posting, as there are some folks here, with let's say, a critical eye, and others with databases of their own. When I feel fairly confident in my research, I'll throw it out there. 39 are verified cars, either current owners on FChat, currently for sale online, or known to have been destroyed. As you know, some of the cars (a lot actually) on Wade's registry have no hyperlink associated with them, so I'm sure I've missed some. I plan to throw those non-hyperlinked chassis numbers into FChat's search function and see what happens. There is also confusion about the model year of several cars, particularly between 83 and 84, but I know that debate will continue.

Happy New Year! Look forward to meeting you and 55127 soon.

What chassis number is your car? What about your assembly number? What color is your interior? Does it have piping on the seats? I would love to see more detailed pictures of your car as well!!

Mine is a 1985 metallic black/creme but its a US car so not one for this thread.

The interior of my 308 is the standard tan. I made the signs and they are not lighted. I have them arranged so my florescent lights reflect the glossy paint. Here is a picture I took a while back when I got the Nouvarlari Sport. The top sign measures about 5 feet across. I drew the letters and cut them out of some soft pine boards. I then sanded and painted them sunshine yellow. I then cut and squared a larger piece of soft pine for the black back drop. The letters are suspended about an inch off the back board using longer screws installed from the back and some $.50 garden soaker line cut into small pieces sandwiched between the letters and the back board. I drew the badge and then just hand painted it. The lighted signs on the left side are beer signs from a local bar (from a friend that owed me some money offered a trade, SCORE) Thanks for the compliments.

I bought IndyGuy's 85 Euro GTS #56297. I just completed the belt service, and replaced the water pump, coolant hoses and various other items. I got her on the road last weekend and it is an awesome car! This is my first Ferrari and I am thrilled it is a Euro QV. I can't wait to see how many there really are in the good old USA.

Belongs to my good buddy, I work on it with him. Pictured next to my very pedestrian Mazda 3. We're in Minneapolis suburbs. He purchased a few years ago from a friend in Virginia. Has the Koenig wide body, but no spoiler. Wide Compomotive wheels. Red and black Daytona seats. U.S. bumper, speedo, and lights.

So far we've done timing belt, spark plugs, birdman fuse box, window accelerators, coolant screw, Hill Engineering pedals and shift knob. Currently working on replacing shift shaft seals with Quad seals. Next summer we'll install fiberglass Euro bumper and repair headlight switch and turn signal switch.

In 1990 it was 4 to 1,,today 330GTC are $500k,,whats most interesting about this thread is that this thread could be evidence that euroqv are more rare in the USA than 330GTC and 365GTB/4.

I stopped posting pictures of mine as everyone always makes fun of the wing and the turbo scoop on the back. It was fine for the 80's but the purist hate it. I am debating on buying the parts to convert it back to a regular GTS before the parts get too high. I know that some older modified F-cars actually bring more money than the standard ones. Once I see which way the market will go in the future will be what I do with the car in the future. I will post one more picture so Dr. Tommy can grimace.

Are you suggesting that a Euro 308 should be worth more within a region or market where there may be fewer of them?

1985 Euro 308 GTS QV from France 52785, 59k km (minus 7,500 rolled up to get into CA according to paperwork, only the face of the speedo was changed), lightly federalized into Miami when new then brought to CA in '85. Bought a few months ago from the 2nd owner of 15 years. A great guy and friend of the original owner. I'm a big fan of the cars but it was actually my wife's dream to own a 308. Excellent original condition, original paint, complete tools, jack, only one fuse missing, everything works as it should so far. We put on new tires, cats, and belts just for good measure, runs amazing.

I looked at a lot cars and I'm so happy we ended up with a Euro 308 QV model.
