I'd vote for Chas as well. He adds to so many freaking sections it's unbelievable. I wander into some random thread and *bam* guyincognito already posted.
I'm rather new here, but ill chime in. Piper Traveler Leead1 Kverges Senna 1994 William H Tazandjan And last but not least, TheMayor. For the sheer entertainment value some of his threads brings (the amount of ire, rage, viscous attacks and sheer disagreement in his "Done with Ferrari Thread" is quite fantastic), he'd be a great ambassador for the site. You don't get stuff like that on Ferrari-Life!
Pretty sure I qualify. Just sayin' Actually wouldn't surprise me if I landed on some ignore lists back in the days of the vaccine wars.
In no particular order: Carbfax (whatever his new handle is) Joe sackey H2OSkier Hawkeye Toolfan Traveller
Ok Bernie up for nomination. I also second Piper and mseals. Although I'm still unclear what this is all about. Chris
I can always count on Dawg to bring me down a few pegs but seriously, while I doubt I'm "ambassador" material, thanks for the kind words guys
try not to nominate more than 1 person and if person is already nominated you really don't need to nominate again. you will only be able to vote for one, so just nominate one. thanks.
for reference, here's the list of nominees so far: mseals Rick Lederman Darth550 Annunaki Kaivball toggie Italiafan UroTrash Drive550PFB GTHill jm2 Wheels1 GuyIncognito Piper Traveler Hawkeye Bernardo66 saw1998 Vraiment leead1 kverges Senna1994 WilliamH The Mayor tazandjan PhilnotHill 134282 Joe Sackey h2oskier Toolfan
thanks! FYI the mod team will have to narrow down to 20 or so. don't want to dilute out the strongest candidates just because names are being loosely thrown out. measure twice, hammer once.
i know you said you didnt want us to nominate twice, but i wanted to add my vote to tazandjan - always helping people out across the board. and since we are in the new world reality my second vote would be for joe sackey.
My first choice goes to Traveller for sharing in such great and unexpected detail his F40 LM project/journey. His generosity in sharing his journey goes beyond the norm of those who are fortunate enough to own one of the greatest Ferrari's ever built as the usual path and details are never shared so graciously and forth coming. He is also a damn nice guy! My second choice goes to Joe Sackey. Joe is always willing to share his knowledge in a friendly and "down to earth" manner and his new book is truly a representation of his passion for Ferrari. Regards.
