New to the forum. I have a 456M and live in south central PA. Are there service alternatives to Algar that are closer?

Competizione near Baltimore has a terrific reputation and is at least equal in distance to you. There is a place East of the Poconos called F40 motorsports as well . Algar is fabulous. I am just commenting from a distance point of view. Jon in Delaware

Isn't F40 Motorsports Wayne Carini's place in CT?

Algar is the best IMHO, and from somebody who has used independents in the past, I have found them to be surprisingly reasonable. Best part is, Ferrari NA warranties their parts and labor for two years. I had a full major a couple of years back, almost to the anniversary, I noticed a couple of drops of oil leaking from the seal. They dropped the engine on my TR, fixed the faulty seal and replaced the belts…for free. You can't get better than that.

If Algar is too far, Competizione and Pocono Sportscar have excellent reputations. We are lucky in that we live in a region with some great F-car mechanics!

Algar also offers a pick up and drop off service. I'm not sure if it's included in all services or how far they go out.

Haha. That's true. I bought my car from the original owner. He serviced it at Algar for 25+ years and never walked in the dealership after they day he bought her!

They would come pick her up, do whatever the car needed, and ship her back. I think he lived an hour away from them. They've done the same for me on a couple of occasions, but I only live about 1/2 hour away.

When I picked up my car, I think they said a 50 mile radius.

Algar does all my service and I highly recommend them. I live about 85 miles away from their shop. The do the pickup and delivery for a small fee.

Algar is the best. Algar offers pick up and drop service at a fair cost, it is worth researching...

I use Radcliffe for all normal service. Excellent, and an easy trip to and from York.
