Your bet interests me.. but you said $160,000.. but.. I'll say north of $155,000 for 1 box of Cohibas but not 6 months.. 3.. to me thats betting on black..! If you get more than $155,000 and I lose, I will gladly deliver a box of Cohibas - personally shake your hand and admit defeat.. Have a few laughs and a glass Johnny Gold in the NYC with Mr. Chairman.. Deal? If I win we do the same and you can even have one of the cigars in the box to smoke with the Johnny Gold.. then if you want I'll go another 3 months for same bet.. After all we are not animals..

You're right.. your back pedaling.. you said $160,000 then you said north of $150,000 then we agree at $155,000.00 So whats the plan.. Your putting this car in three auctions with a high reserve.. or your just watching the auctions to see whats going on.. 90 days.. or we have no deal.. Oh.. this is so much fun..

Wayyyy too late to get in auctions..
After auctions I will press on with sales..
the auctions are just a start point, thats why I add 10 days
90 days after auction results, is 100 days from now!
    No big deal.
I will market the car myself

With all respect to my esteemed fellow f-chatters, I don't know what any of us get out of criticizing the OP. It would seem to me that all of the owners on this board would be delighted to see this car fetch such a number. It won't be the first time.

I vote for crossing our fingers and hoping he gets his number.

Of course, If he does... I got a feeling there is going to be a massive sell off and I may be the only owner left on this board ;)

There are Cohiba and there ARE Cohiba...
    I think you should specify.

You can buy Cohiba (Cuban) in the USA?
    Really...:)

    Great bet!

    Regards, Alberto

Yes, but there are 7,000+ seats. Granted, not many as nice as yours, but it's still a very big pool.

Either way you have a great car and I admire your commitment/faith in getting your number. Good luck.

Sorry this may have been covered -- what happened to the car between when it sold on eBay and now to warrant 60% price increase?

Christophe means there should be a plug there, not (what appears to be) a grommet. I think there is actually a plug installed though not the correct one. Here is an example of what I think is installed.

You are correct though, all Testarossa's came with a plug, the hole and plug size changed early in production (early cars PN 61505500, later cars PN 61572500). I don't know when the change occurred (not annotated in SPC or TSBs).

BTW 512TR/F512M tow hook installed through the grill so no plug required.

This car is amazing. My parents had one back in the days and that started my love to ferrari. It is increadible to see one in this condition. GLWS and I hope it goes to someone who can appreciate the art.

it reminds me a good trip with this model. A friend bought it and went with it at the restaurant Centola near to Paris. i turns back from the tennis and i received a call from the restaurant.
The voice told me: Frederic is here and he wants to show you something..
i will never forget the two hours later. the car was the same of your pictures. 450 Hp plates from Swisszertland. We have a great moment to drive the car in town and outside.
    great car.

    Just for the record
There are more genuine cuban cigars available
In NYC from long standing reliable sources
Than any where else on earth.
If I should loose my bet
I will gladly impart my source to the opposing team!
Life is too short to waste time on anything but the best.

If so I almost owned many years ago...BTW is the entire car wrapped in clear ? I heard
it may have been done before you bought it

Michael this should be fun and some part of me wants to lose this bet as I feel the tr gets a bad rap for all these years. Whoever wins it should be fun to drop off some cigars and enjoy a drink while talking Ferrari. I for sure will not be bitter. I've been know. To rub the wrong way on here but those that know me do know I'm not a bitter person if I lose this. For me it's all in fun and in good spirit. More for bragging rights. Lol. I know you bet on black. I walk up to the roulette table and make a one time bet on 00 and hit. Mr. Chairman rarely loses.
