I've seen this model in real life at a fair (for sale, not a pre-production model) and the pictures with a white background don't do it justice. It's a great model with good proportions and stance. I already have two Kyoshos and that's enough for me. Otherwise I would buy this model without hesitation.

edit: I also recently bought the BBR wire wheels. They look very nice. I'm going to use them to modify a Guiloy 250 GTO 64.

I think I'd like to see one in the metal(resin) before making a purchase. It's a lot of money.

That's always a very wise way to go about in this hobby :)

For example, this week I got my copy of the CMC 312P spider. After seeing it myself, I'm now confident and ordered the berlinetta version as well. If I had been disappointed with the spider version, I would have rejected it and forego on the berlinetta version as well. It's indeed a lot of money for not being satisfied.

Sounds nice, remember to post some pictures up.
It's a shame there's not too many opportunities to inspect these models before buying. I'm looking forward to my visit to Techno Classica Essen in March as there's usually a good few model sellers and manufacturers there.

Hmm. Whilst it looks like the model has some nice interior detail the overall shape just doesn't look right to me from the pictures. It looks like a model of a 250 GTO replica rather than one of the real car.

So the rivets are not as bad as they look in the pictures? I´m glad because i also want the car but before spending 350€ wnat to be sure it´s a great looking model...not decided yet between spyder or coupe...wold defenitly go for the coupe if it had a livery...

Just got the Spyder as well. I too saw the photograph where the rivets looked terrible but in reality the model is stunning and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

Rivets are fine. I'm looking at the model right now sitting in my display cabinet and I can't even see them properly without taking a close look. It's sitting next to a 412P and 330 P4 by GMP and the rivets are comparable.

Thanks, if that´s the case than they will be fine, i have the gmp p4 and the rivets never seemed out of scale...

    Thanks Brett,
Yes that BBR GTO was a little up in price, but I really like it, and I bought it well from a dealer I've been patronizing for over 30 years.

thinking to do the same.....please do and tell if it's easy to make the swap...i heard the Guiloy was 1716 more than 1/18, so not sure how the wheels will turn out...also would like to do some windows and change the grid...
