A friend of mine in Orlando wants to buy a couple of vintage cars (he is thinking about 60's Ferraris, a Dino, and/or Porsche 356 cab). The closest he has to "vintage" now is a BMW Z8, which is not at all vintage, so I have suggested that he drive vintage cars to find out what he likes. Are there any vintage exotic dealers near Orlando/Windermere that have inventory and are trustworthy and easy to work with?

I'm guessing by the lack of response that there aren't any used exotic dealers near Orlando, but how about a wider range around Orlando or anywhere in Florida?

He is going to buy some vintage cars, but he is buying them to drive rather than as an investment. He is talking to brokers and a lot of cars have been suggested to him, but he wisely wants to drive some cars to determine which brands/models he enjoys driving (given that his priority is on driving them).

I have been doing business with Motorcar Gallery in Ft. Lauderdale since some time in the 70's and found them reputable. We have done service work for them in our shop and I have also purchased and sold cars to them. I am sure if you called them they would allow you to test drive a car.

You might want to take a look at Chariots of the Palm Beaches. They mostly have newer exotics and luxury cars, but they do have some vintage stuff as well. You can check their current inventory on line. They seem to get new things all the time, some interesting, some not. I enjoy stopping by there and checking out what they've got laying around.

The only places I know of in Orlando are the dealers. And they don't do much vintage. They might be worth a call to see if they know anyone selling though.

Most of the vintage exptic dealer are in Fort Lauderdale or Miami. There are at least 3 big ones maybe 4.

Classic car gallery is one I went with a freind who did all of the searching. Bill is on this site sometimes maybe he will fill in the blanks for us. He likes vintage exotic cars.

If you google south Florida exotics they will pop up. There are also many American classic car dealer in that area. Good luck and enjoy your hunting.

If you call Orlando Ferrari tell them Lee Adams suggested you call they can give you some names. As Troy says they mostly only sell new or current cars. I doubt they have anything you are looking for.

    happy hunting :)

Troy and I are going to C&C tomorrow and we plan on stopping by the dealership on the way home

Drop by and talk to Nort Northam, located on the SW corner of Interstate-4 and Fairbanks Ave. He's primarily a German car dealer, but has an occasional Ferrari.
