Yesterday, I purchased the Ferrari 2013 yearbook (issue #23) at my local Ferrari dealer, and it is typical of the breed.

The cover article is a detailed look at the LaFerrari assembly line. There is also an article on the 458 Speciale, one on well-known owners of the FF (including basketball star Dwight Howard), a retrospective of Franco Gozzi and a celebration of 30 years of Ferraris in Hong Kong. An interesting article describes the "Tailor-made" program that allows Ferrari buyers to customize their cars when they are built.

In racing activities, there is the usual review of the 2013 F1 season and Ferrari's successful GT program. Also included are interviews with Mario Andretti and John Surtees, a retrospective on Latin Americans who have driven for Ferrari in racing, an article on the previous 9 formulae that Ferrari has raced in for the World Championship and another on the challenges presented by the new turbo formula for 2014.

Other features include the update to the Museo Ferrari in Maranello, one on the Ferrari Classiche program, another on vintage model cars with operating engines, and a tour guide of Turin, as well as the usual articles covering other Ferrari activities worldwide throughout the year. (Unfortunately, the 50th anniversary tour of the special 599 for the Ferrari Club of America is ignored completely.)

I think that this is a worthwhile purchase for any serious Ferrari fan, so check with your nearest dealer for availability.

I never knew Ferrari had a yearbook until now, DOH!!!

So I called my contact at FoH and he has one last remaining issue, #23, that he has set aside for me, $61.99+tax. He also mentioned that issue #22 has become "a tad rare or just hard to find" but he will help me obtain any and all issues I desire. I am glad I ran across this thread and if I can help other Fchat members with yearbooks let me know.

Ferrari did yearbooks through the 60's and 70's ending around 74 I think. They resumed in 89 with a glossier affair, many can be found on eBay for around $10 upwards for the less rare years.

Since they started publishing the quarterly magazine, the yearbook is one of the four issues each year, but generally the only one which is sold individually.

    Previous yearbooks in this series are #3, 7, 11, 15 and 19.

I think the price is set by the individual dealer; mine was $60 less a 10% discount as a Ferrari Club member. A few years ago the yearbooks were closer to $100, so the current price is a bit of an improvement.

I was at FoH today picking up a set of new spark plugs and Juan gave me a glimpse of the yearbooks they have in stock and it is huge!!!! So anyone not in Houston who is having trouble finding certain copies not in stock at their local dealer or just wanting to expand their collection give FoH a call.

Emailed Ferrari UK to get a price for one of these, £79.50 + 20% VAT!
Don't think I'll be starting to collect them again, remember when they were £25 from local dealers.

I think they class it as a "part".

I was at FoH this morning picking up parts and took a quick walk through the gift shop and they have a few 1:18 models I am interested in for me collection. Long story short I was told I will receive our company's discount on anything I personally purchase and I believe it is 20% off retail, cool deal!!

I purchased mine today at FoH and received a small discount so I paid $59 tax included. My plan is to purchase at least one each month. My parts guy also told me that he can order any Ferrari model I want but I failed to ask him if he has a list of what is available and their prices.
