Got my first ferrari and I am skipping around and smiling like a little kid. Came from some great cars but never a ferrari and had to scratch the itch.

Only got to drive it home from dealer on Wed night and took it for an early drive on some great road yesterday morning at 6am before any traffic so got to really push it.

Just traded in my spectacular GT2, which is still a much better performer with the mods it has for power and suspension. After a few years, it was not exciting me anymore. Think this was the perfect choice for now.

Look forward to learning a lot from you guys.

Congrats! Drive her in good health. Can't believe you let your GT2 go. I'd figure the Scud would be quite a bit slower than the GT2. But then again, some things you just can't quantify. Enjoy!

Thanks guys. Because the GT2 was such an amazing performer in all regards, it was really difficult to finally come to the conclusion that I wanted to try something else. And yes it was faster than the MP4, Aventador, 458, and some gallardo's that I have tried. But found myself not caring about the speed as much. If it was than I would of considered the new 991TTS, but that just sounds boring.
Scud is perfect for what I wanted in a weekend fun/track car.

Love the stripe! Looks good on a black Scud.
Wow! Replaced a GT2. I would love to hear a detailed comparison between the two. Agree the GT2 would stomp the Scud on track.

Great Choice! Welcome. I am a big fan of GT2....and of course black Ferrari's. Are you parking the Scud car in the same space as the GT2? How do you find the dimensions between the two considering the garage space? Did you garage get smaller with the Scud?

Yes, it was. I live in Del Mar/Carmel Valley area myself. It appears to be others who live here in paradise.

I saw that you are. I also noticed it has to be low mileage for you. Personally, I have a different view and prefer higher miles. If it has higher miles, with no issues, I feel it has proven its a well built model and is not going to have issues for sitting for very long periods of time. The thought of a high strung sports car like this, only having 1 or 2k miles over 5 years, makes me wonder what problems will occur from that.
I really don't know squat about engines and how that all works, just my humble thoughts.
Wish you good luck on your search.

The Scud feels much bigger when sitting inside. It appears to be about 5 inches longer based on parking it in the same spot the GT2 was in. Of course it is wider but not really sure by how much. Sure you could look that up on the interwebz.
