No way it will be worth 340k. 340k is the price of a nice CGT with miles not one that has a salvage title bc of fire damage.

340 is what they are saying is average retail value for one, they are stating est. repair cost is around 290

Should be even less because this car will never have the same value as a virgin cgt.

At least not in the foreseeable future.

I feel like this one should be parted out. Wheels, seats, etc will easily be worth more than 340-290.

I put a few thousand miles on that exact car, and still have a few of the service records laying around my house somewhere. Too bad the car had to go out like that....spun out at a track, hit a corner worker's Volkswagen, and both caught fire. :(

A little history....the car had previous paint to the front from a minor mishap where a pickup truck backed into it. The previous owner leased the car, and got it with around 3,200 miles on it from RUF down in Texas. If I remember correctly, the sale price back then was around $300k or so. I remember the previous 'accident' damage killing the value. I hope this helps, and would love to see someone fix this poor thing.

    Interesting, thanks for sharing.

Because of the thread bump, I checked and there is a new lot/link...

2004 Porsche Carrera Gt with VIN WP0CA29874L001083 on auction

    Edit...

Just noticed the sale date is listed as last Dec...

...so I'm not sure why this link is still live.
