Very nice! You're a brave man. I guess I'm on the too cautious side because I don't think I would ever purposely drive my 458 in rain. Not because I'm scared to wipe out but because I'm scared some idiot will be tailing me to get a look and slide right into me.

It got worse, especially on the Interstate on the way home. We don't often get this kind of weather down here. And I understand gqa, I might not have taken it if I had known it would get THIS bad, but I was wasn't paying attention. However I do drive it every day rain or shine. Have put 12,000 miles on it in 6 months and it's had nothing go wrong. Now that I've posted that, the car will burn to the ground tomorrow. ;)

Doesn't matter; I'm never selling. ;) I know quite well the three bumper repaints, two dashboard recovers, 60,000 plus miles, etc...have done to the resale on my 360, but I enjoy driving it, and maintaining it looking and driving as-new. Same thing for the 458. I fully expect to break 100,000 miles on this car 3-4 years down the road.

Thumbs up indeed! These cars, regardless their price and 'exclusivity', are merely cars at the end of the day and hence should cope with these environments if need be.

My view is simple: buy them to drive them as hard and as much as possible. Don't buy them and then start worrying about its resale value from Day 1 (for some even at Day -1, when selecting 'their' options) onwards, since that's just a waste of an awesome machine! And money...

I think I could skate on that hood :)

Congrats on driving your cars they way they should be driven, instead of making them garage queens, I think Enzo would be proud.

People treat these cars like they are 98 year old grandma's. I mean, isn't there a "wet" manettino setting? Good on you for driving the snot out of yours. It's JUST A CAR. Mine gets valet parked, goes to Walmart, and if we ever got any, would be driven in the rain. PM me for my vin...
