Having a frustrating issue with the left screen on my 458. A couple of days ago I went into setup of the left screen and somehow activated an option that starts showing the parking sensor in the left screen. So now every time car is stationary the sensor starts showing on the screen and when car moves I can access VDA / trip details etc but not when car is stationary. The only option that doesn't work while the car is in motion is SETUP, and when the car is stationary I can't seem to be able to show anything other than the sensors showing on screen, so basically I can't access SETUP to switch off this sensor displaying option

I hope someone here gets what I am saying and has a solution for this.. Driving me mad!

Try pressing the Front Parking Sensors button on the Roof Panel (the panel between the two visors). Refer to page 135 in the Owners Manual.

I've not found a way to default the left screen to the Parking Sensors view, but will occasionally use the button mentioned above to switch the contents of the Left Screen back to non-parking-sensors view.

As a child of the 70's, cars nowadays have so much tech involved in their everyday systems that the manual is required reading. 20-30 years ago all you needed to know was which button to push for the auto-reverse on the tape deck or which button to press to change from CD 1 thru 6.
