    Merry Christmas everyone!

It seems the cats on my 5.2 355 have died. Can anyone point me in the direction of good sports cats that are durable?

    Thanks!!

+1, Hyperflows for 7 years and no problems, do it right and you only have to do it once.

Another nod for Hyperflows. I have a 5.2, no CELs or any issues at all. They are great.

Having said that I have a set of virtually new (less than 500 miles) factory cats for sale if you or anyone else wants them...

    :)

If your cats are dead, just head on down to your local animal rescue shelter and get a couple of new ones. Make sure to feed the new ones :)

My comment depends on where you are located. If you are in a smog state, go for Hyperflows or something similar, but legal. If not, then either gut them or swap in test pipes. Of course, using high flow cats dictates using a high flow exhaust to wring the most out of them. Enjoy.

Located outside of the US in Hong Kong. Local smog testing is becoming more and more stringent! So decat/straight pipes is no longer an option

We recently made a slight change to our Sport Cats (switched to offset endcaps) that more closely resembles the factory cats - this improves clearance with the subframe. They're really nice pieces. Power (and sound) improves significantly. Below is a dynochart of a 355 with our full exhaust package, vs. the same car with our full package, but stock primary cats. 20-22 ft. lbs of torque gain to the wheels for a large part of the torque curve, and 20 hp to the rear wheels up top.

All the fabspeed Motorsport catalytic converters feature imported HJS German tri metallic 200 cell cores euro level 5 certified. We import the catalytic converters and Tigbweld these to our end caps and mandrel bent pipes.

Google HJS Germany and you can learn about their programs and catalytic converters that are used by all the major German, Italian and USA tuners.
