    Hello guys, any of you with good contacts to get a rear engine cover for an F40?

    I have a non original one on my car and want to go back to standard/original part

    Ideally in Europe

    I went to see it but unfort not in pristine conditions...few small cracks within the lexan (temperature stress I guess). I made an offer on it anyway as I guess everything has a price but I'm still waiting to hear back from the seller (who happens to be a very nice guy who owned 4 F40s in the past 20 years or so).

    Max is yours one of the Nick Mason 10 tenths ones?

    I have a nice original one, might be up for some kind of exchange. Problem is its in storage and I may not be able to get to it for a month or so. It is currently in the UK though.

    It is indeed one of these. I kind of like it to be honest, and visibility is much better, especially in the night, but for the sake of originality would prefer to go for an original one.

    Exchange would work well for me and to be honest the car is in the garage with very little use given winter is coming etc, am not really in a rush!

    Let me know how you wish to proceed in case.

    Still looking guys!! Paul, you back to the UK/able to switch?

    I am also looking to buy an original exhaust for my non cat car...unfortunately mine came without the original part (not that I want to put it back, but I prefer to have all the original parts stored).

    Rear lexan is still available from a dealer. I asked a couple months ago, price was about 14k iirc.

    Many thanks Paul, ended up buying one in Belgium this weekend for less than a third of the ebay's one! And having seen in person the one for sale here in London, the one I bought it's in much better conditions! ;)

    So it his now in my living room, my wife not really happy about that! :)
