Just tried to get a PPI on a Maserati last week up there, the owner, Peter K never returned my call for the PPI to be done The closest shop(Universal autosports) told me they usually do not let folks get PPi's; many folks I hear say you can get a good deal if you or your friend you bring along know what the hell your looking at......Doc

    Ugh. Gullwing.

It's quite a shed with a lot of nice hardware within but doesn't inspire confidence. I think most everything they sell is really intended as a rough driver or a restoration candidate.

You can certainly, therefore, find a deal.

First of all, it is not a 1981 because it is a series 2, or at least the interior is series 2. Front bumper smacked pretty hard, wrong lenses on front parking/turn signal lights, rear suspension sagging very, very low, rear bumper scratched.

Doesn't bode well for what the car looks like under the hood and elsewhere. I know of 5 red/tan 5 speeds in U.S. Anyone have a serial number? Edit: never mind 47453, ca. 1983.

Anyway you could attach the link to the page the car is listed on, your link only takes you to the home page & this site seems to be a pain in the *ss navigating around

This is the guy constantly advertising in hobby publications seeking exotics in "any condition"
This, combined with refusal to cooperate with a PPI doesn't bode well.

Doesn't Bode well for what? It's Gullwing. Everyone knows that's where cars go to die. If that car were free you would be upside down in one month- Leather, carpet, paint, bumpers... then you have to get it running right and shifting into all gears. $50K if it's a dime.

Remember the "buy the best you can afford" thing...
