Maserati 100 - A Century of History Book

All...

I received my copy of the Maserati 100 (1914 - 2014) - A Century of History - The Official Book, over the weekend. Authors are Gianni Cancellieri, Luca Dal Monte, Cesare De Agostini, and Lorenzo Ramaciotti. The book is published by Giorgio NADA Editore.

My copy was purchased through The Maserati Club:Southeast Chapter at a cost of about $50.
The book is about 360 pages, hard-bound, and has a number of pictures I have never seen
before.

The first 95 or so pages cover the history of the company presented by Luca Dal Monte, the next 150 pages are style and technology presented by Lorenzo Ramaciotti, and cover all the
road going models up through and including the new Ghibli. The last 100 pages cover the
Racing Trident presented by Gianni Cancellieri and Cesare De Agostini.

This is a very, very, nice book, one I am looking forward to reading. If there is interest, I
will post a picture of it tomorrow...

Got mine last Monday. Totally agree with Mike - it's a very nice piece of work!

 

Just checked Amazon...said it was preorder...available in March.

 

Got mine through the German Maserati Club.
Great value for money.

Good value, but lots of typos.. and some stuff forgotten... For example the 1991 Barchetta is missing totally.. But nice book anyway

 

Also #061 is used as the example of the A6 1500, despite a completely inauthentic interior and other details. I presume that the owner is a friend of the authors.

 

Nice book but am also disappointed by some of the quality of the pics (especially the new ones look low res) and the layout is not very nicely done as well as the typo mixup
Marcs Citroen years book is much better in that respect.

Content is key though and it sure features a lot of that

 

It's an OK book, but I am not very impressed. I would have thought they would have done it more comprehensive and correct, given it being an official book for the occasion.

I'm looking forward to receiving the book from Amazon. Only $63 which is a great deal for a book of this caliber. I believe this book was published in Italian which may explain why there are typo's. No big deal. Content is what matters and from what I hear this book has it in spades.

 

Mine arrived a few days ago. Haven't had time to sit down and read it, but skimming through it looks like a really good book with a lot of information.
