As part of recovering the dash my US version E series Dino 05702 I discovered a green light holder and bulb on the shelf above the vent/heater control levers to illuminate them. Difficult to see from the normal seating position in the car and something I never noticed because it is somewhat hidden but with the dash out it was very prevalent. My second Dino is a Euro E series and does not have this and it isn't shown in the electrical wiring diagram nor the parts book. Not that this is a unique occurence but it does
make me wonder if anyone else has this on their Dino?

I have such a light - #2966, November 71 production, for the Canadian market (I believe Canadian cars had the same specs as US then)

    Thank you again.
My Euro Dino 05082 is just 310 production numbers prior but does not have this. More variety in the Dino world and not anywhere in the factory documentation!

Yes, it should be green, IMO.

The correct term is "North American" on the specs from those years, one of my cars sold in Canada when new.

They installed that green lamp in the hand brake handle, on the 308s.

My '79 Dino GT4 uses two of those fitters and green bulbs for dash illumination.

    it`s factory documentated...
Dino Compendium page 239, no. 49

I just looked it up, it`s in all three "Additional Instructions for the USA Version" 1971/72, 1973, 1974
So it`s correct that all US-models should have this dashboard light
Ferrari calls it: Switch panel light
