Not sure of the US price but my friends at Miller have sold a LOT of them (20?). Both McLaren and Porsche are very customer friendly and Ferrari's attitude is getting old among some.

You should have no problem getting a La Ferrari after having followed their instructions to buy 4 FF's at full wack...

    :)

I don't know all. You just made a blanket statesman that is ridiculous for the US.

    Take it how you will.

    I'd take it personally ;)

I love corners and tracks as much as the next bloke, but truth be told there are a lot of things to be found in straight line speed. The thrill of savage acceleration and the fear induced by doing nearly 200 mph is an epic experience.

It didn't sell out. McLaren wanted to sell 500 P1's but the demand wasn't there so they had to settle for 375. I guess those good looks could only get it so far... :)

The P1 MSRP is $1,150,000. Only option on the list would be Elite Paint for $10,840 and an additional battery charger at $5,450. Other then that everything is standard unless you do MSO options.

Aren't battery chargers under $100? What's special about the McLaren battery charger?

Not sure where to post this so I might as well serve it up to the experts and trolls as they seem to both be in this thread :) As all 3 of these cars are only available with F1 transmissions and people like me would much prefer the old school gated shifter (even at the expense of a few ticks), could any of these cars be custom fitted with a classic floor-mounted H-pattern 6-speed Gated Shifter in addition to the steering wheel paddles?

I think I could forgo the 3-pedal setup and deal with the 2-pedal if I still had a gated 6-speed to row through. I know some F1 tranny types have the up and down/+ & - on the floor-mount section like a lot of race cars but I'm talking a full-on H-shape gated classic Ferrari pattern. Sure it would be slower to engage each gear vs paddles as it would have to be rigged to where a certain position on each gate activated the gear shift so it may even feel a bit artificial but even so, to me it seems that option would preserve the sanctity of a true Ferrari while giving the joy and at least perception of additional driver involvement.

In this setup, you'd still have the paddles available to use if you needed all-out performance but at least this way you'd have the option to drive it in a 'manual' mode. Any thoughts or ideas on whether that would be possible much less enjoyable?
