I wasn't impressed with it either. And since I found the speakers in the doors to be extremely ugly, I ordered mine without it. And sacrificed the sat-nav with it. Too bad.

I have not turned the stereo on in my Scud since 2008! It never even occurs to me - love the sound especially with the Capristo switch on

Would you say from a resale point of view that satnav and the speakers are a deal breaker?
I would probably be happy fitting a Bose and using a TomTom...honestly ha ha

Yeah, I spec'd with the black wheels on Grigio because the standard
wheels get lost amongst the paint of the car,
black adds depth needed on a dark car.

I have to say, so far Grigio Silverstone is the best paint I have seen that helps
to accentuate the curves and lines of this car. Corsa seems a little flat often.

Who knows, right? You might end up with a potential buyer who finds the speakers even more ugly than I do. Or one audiophile who thinks the sound system in this car is a disgrace. Or one who would never buy such a car without a sat nav. Or one who thinks that such a car shouldn't be equipped with these gadgets.

Bottom line: You'll never know. That's also why I decided not to care about resale and order the car exactly the way I want it. It's my car for as long as I decide, I've bought it to drive it as often and as hard as I safely can. What happens with resale is anyone's guess... mostly irrespective of your option list.

I guess that's an Italia with the front bumper and wheels of a Speciale... The S doesn't have side skirts. Maybe it will come as an option for Italias...
IMO the aero of the Speciale won't work without the grill in the bonnet and the fins.

I'm curious to know how they fixed the front license plate holder. I just came back from the dealer and we deliberated about this too. If I can avoid it, I'd rather not drill holes in the front bumper and don't like to glue it on the more horizontal bit of the bumper either (because plates technically speaking need to be in the middle of the car here).

So basically, I need something that'll fit in the black triangular shape below the top of the bumper and above the horsey and will hold the plate just there. Or just stick it at an downward facing angle on that black bit and hope that I'll get away with it...

And no, not fitting a plate here is not an option unfortunately. The associated fine I can live with, but it'll give you Black Points too and I'd rather keep the option of deploying those rare ones on other (speed-related) stuff, if need be! ;-)
