Hi guys, Does anyone know if TR had racing strips option like CS or Scudd? Also, was there a specific track TR ever made?
Edvar will know for sure but definitely no for the strips, although I've seen a few of them with Italian strips, I even have a picture of a silver one somewhere in a drawer, and I don't think Ferrari ever officially raced it.
Racing Stripes were never an option on the Testarossa. Please note that nobody really cared about racing stripes until the introduction of the Challenge Stradale. No "track" or "racing" versions were made by the factory. There were a few cars which were modified by owners/shops for racing. I actually thought about it myself too.. To me My favorite stripe was the competition daytonas of 74' I think there was a Road and track issue with an enclosed plexi headlight car on the cover. I remember the Marchal cut crystal glass headlights like it was yesterday! Those were the days when a stripe was a stripe! will look for pic

James you should just hear this Testa, in my opinion it is the best sounding Testa I have heard. However, as at GT car with your wife inside for a long trip, well ....... P

I'm very sorry to the owner for being so judgmental, but I'm not a fan. I modified my TR with HRE 18" wheels, F40 Brembo brakes, and carbon fiber/glass engine deck lid. I also recently modified my 360 with scuderia stripes and HR 19" wheels. These TR mods are a bit too much, even for me. Sorry.
At first I was ekk. Then I saw the above pic of the red TR with some stripes. Now Im like "Meh". No super offensive but if something is easily removable......what ever floats your boat. I was thinking of the Bull Run guys. If I had no regard for my drivers license........... I would wrap the girl in orange vinyl and do it dukes of Hazzard style for the run. Then strip it back to stock like Maranello intended it.
