Post what you have done today. Went for a drive, worked on your car, anything that happened etc.

Backed my DD out from under it. :( Stuck on the lift for the foreseeable future I'm afraid.

I plan to replace the throttle cable today...but, I also backed my DD out from under it. Stuck on the lift for the foreseeable future as well due to crappy weather!

    (2) new distributor caps came in, with a metal hood release from Superperformance. I've had too many plastic ones fail...this looks the way to go!

and the parts were ordered Sunday & arrived Tuesday. Can't beat it!

Plugged it into the charger for what will probably be another 6 weeks. This weather stinks.

My wife had some friends round for coffee so I roped them all in to helping put my engine cover back on!
I wish I had taken a picture of them holding the cover up but for some reason they wanted me to get the bolts fitted as quickly as possible, cant think why, its not as if its heavy :)
Now I have to spend the usual 2-3 hours getting the damn thing to line up :(

All hoses/clips replaced, cam covers tarted up etc, valve clearances, cam seals done (not all today obviously!)

Nice looking car! I've got a QV, but I think the 308 looks best with the black a pillars and all red hood. Beautiful!

Stripped the interior down and removed every bit of adhesive from the floorboards. Disassembled the throttle, cleaned and painted. Disassembled the gear shift to rebuild and clean later.

The only thing I can do to my car is to have a look at it. So I look and think about summer.

Love it! FYI - my car documentation came with the article about your car! Apparently the former owner was a fan : )

I saw mine in the garage when I was walking thru on the way to my commute car.

    That count?

Not much I can do to my car right now. It's at the shop being prepared for another fun season. :)
When it's back I'm going to have the leather done, hopefully in time for another road trip to Monaco and Italy.

p.s. Had a good chance to inspect the underside of the car. It looks real nice.

Kept working on the new seat design I'm making so I can drive the car comfortably (I'm 6'-4" tall). I now have to make angled steel brackets to attach the rear & seat bottoms together. Also waiting for a color chart for dyes from World Upholstery so I can choose the new Wilton carpet & leather colors. I will dye faded bits to match the new colors, chosen to be compatible with available dye colors.

Finished stripping down the throttle. Blasted everything clean, painted, greased and reassembled with all new hardware. Added heel/toe extension.

Noticed a fine mist coming from the driver's defroster vent that has a sweet smell to it...
