I have gone brain dead and forgot the name of the module the exhaust temp sensor is connected to. I believe the updated modules are encapsulated with green sealant and the original were black. My 94 348 has one black that is showing some signs of shrinkage. Would like to replace it now rather than wait until it causes a problem. Help in sourcing the correct part appreciated.

But look in the threads. I think you can seal the edges with silicone and should be good to go. You just want to protect it from condensation on the inside due to temp changes.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Not a bad idea to buy one for a spare. You'll know when it needs replacing.

I have heard of using plasti dip to seal them up.
