Has been just published the new Maurice LOUCHE's book:

    "EMOTION FERRARI Europe 1947-1972"

Through the 500 pages and a thousand pics, mostly unpublished before, the new photographic Maurice Louche's book will carry you on the great European races of the mythic years from 1947 to 1972: Grand Prix, Endurance, Rally, Hill Climb.
A captivating glazed paper album for the FERRARI passionates but also for the others that, at this occasion, will discover a new passion.
Detailed captions in French and English (pics with mostly S-N).

This looks like a MAGNIFICENT book. I just got emailed about this a couple of days ago from libreria del l'automobile. An italian bookshop that keeps some pretty fantastic titles. Heres the link to there ad:

by the way i also saw it advertised on the Ferrari Owners Site, so it even gets the Factory's praise/endorsement. Not many books get that (outside of their own publications of course).

I love that multiple indexes of the photos, catagorized according to marque, driver and such... very cool...

Talked to Mr. Louche at Retromobile and as I yearly do complimented him with his Ferrari book. Now as a surprise he told me he is working on a Part II. Basically covering the same period, but without the F1 racing. Still something to look forward to.

I have the first edition. Does this mean there will be new information in the second edition, but without F1 racing, or simply reprinting edition one without F1?

    Thanks.

Oh no Jack, a real new part II, not a 2nd ed or print.
