LaFerrari physical dimensions?

I just watched this video; near the end Kimi sees the LaFerrari; I had to watch it twice. A first I thought it was a 75% scale model; it looks small! (which I like)

Just curious if anyone has seen it next to the Enzo, or has dimensions of it....

it seems very low and long from photos. but i agree it doesn't look very big. i am sure the overall dimension is quite deceptive to a car that's so sculpted.

 

I know, right? I know it's low, based on an earlier thread....but wow - reminds me of the McLaren F1, about the size of a Porsche Boxter.

No, it's nowhere near that small. It's not big, big, but it's not small either. It's 458+ and it's very sculpted and the tub is very intimate. in this vid you get a good sense of scale seeing different sized people in and around it.

It's deceptive because it sits so low. It's actually the largest of all the new hypercars based on square footage from end to end and side to side.

Here's a are the figures for the current Porsche Boxster - a foot shorter than the Ferrari and nearly 8" narrower.

And since you mentioned it, the F1 still reigns supreme in the pint-sized hypercar category...

It's very interesting how low the LF is compared with the 918 and the P1, even when the latter is in race mode.
I assume it's possible thanks to the seat being incorporated into the chassis, with the driver seating lower (and more inclined) than usual ,which allows the height of the chassis to be reduced. I remember something similar was shown in 2007 on the Millechili prototype.

By the way, when these cars were first announced, my initial weight estimate (or, better, hope) for the future Ferrari was based on that technology demonstrator. I was disappointed when the weight figures of the three cars came out (and for LF it is still unofficial!).
