I state that two days ago I was puzzled by the nose of the T and now I'm already in love I would like to ask you a question. Is it just me or mirrors are slightly shorter compared to California?

I really do like the new T. Does anyone know if they did anything special for traction control? I seem to remember some discussion about it way earlier.

That wasn't the case with the California, so you could likely get at Cali T as a first Ferrari (heck, that is what they were designed to be, a first Ferrari for new to the brand buyers).

You may not get an "early" build slot (previous customers get those of course), but you should be able to get in line and get one.

Check with your dealer, or better yet, if you have a house that isn't within the the "official distance" (I *think* 75 or 100 miles? someone will correct me) then you can shop around various dealers and I'm sure you could find one in that case.

That's all very true, but I think the F12 is almost perfect until you look at it head on. The California T front grill is growing on me. Even the Alfa 4C head lights are growing on me and they are down right weird(but kind of cool).

Very nice, but it could have been even better. It has to much grill IMO. I am not the only Ferrari lover who has noticed that. I love the head lights.

    Almost perfect.............

Like many others here, I am impressed by the T and look forward to seeing it in person. If there are 3 inches more legroom in the rear and the handling and all other aspects are equal to or better than the current model, I may need to rethink whether my kids have outgrown a 2+2.

Why do you feel the 3" is in the legroom in the rear ?

Peter, that end result looks fabulous! Thanks for sharing that with us. I had asked my dealer if they could do this and they politely declined. I was also told that new shocks ans springs were needed since lowering with coilovers would decrease the normal travel distance and compromise the dampening etc.

I like the new Cali T! The previous model while nice has that Smiley face front end that was not aggressive enough to me. I'm coming from an MB SL and this would be a great upgrade if I didn't already fall in luv with the 458. But this model has me thinking again. I'd take a white with black roof and rosso interior!

I don't know it is. My point was that if it were, the car would be much more useable for my needs.

If it is then it will scrape often.

I have the Cali30 and it will scrape exiting some normally incline driveways unless I angle and gently pull out. I believe it's mostly due to the suspension travel.

Lowered cars look nice but are completely impractical unless you are prepared to scrape them.

    +1

I hate driving excessively lowered cars. I once drove a Cali on Novitec 21" as well as it being lowered. Scraped everywhere even if you tried to drive over ramps in and out of garages at an angle.

If someone is interested to listen the audio file of the world premier (13 February), please, let me know. The file is several Mb!

The audio quality is of course not really good...

Good news. Having worried over the absence if any announcement on the new infotainment centre despite the Apple link, I have learnt that when announced at Geneva the Cali system will be an all new system and apparently 'world leading'.

Great! I can't wait to see and inspect the car in detail. :)

Hopefully, this delay in information might lead to an announcement about the gearbox details aswell.

No info about the gearbox during the presentation. Nothing.

I asked to a "red salesman" about it and he told me that is the same of Cal30 with some improvment as usual (a salesman is always telling you what you want to listen...)

I think that the variable torque is the real reason to "help" the actual gearbox not to be destroyed after few accelerations!

    I smell of future problems...
