Feiss Your picture is sinistra or left You do search destra or right? Here is an installationthread http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/mondial/420347-pillar-installation.html Here was availability the issue: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/mondial/416580-mondi-owners-guess-what-i-just-found.html Try eurospares or other ferraribreakers, maybe the dealer? Good luck
Ferrparts has them on Ebay for $185.00 or b/o. They are not OEM but who cares? You will have a very hard time finding OEM and IF you do - you will pay an insane price for a piece of rubber. I just bought a replacement for my pass side and bought a spare driver side just in case. Ebay 121206645995
I guess I'll have to wait 'til they arrive to check 'em. I'm just getting what was pictured on e-Bay. I think that price is kinda high for "aftermarket", but if that can't be had anymore or a dismantler is gonna charge a fortune for used OEM, I don't fell too bad. I doubt that there's a Mondial alive which can boast that every single part on it is 100% genuine factory installed or contains all its factory parts. I'll let you guys know if they have the metal inserts once they arrive, but by looking at the pictures, I don't think they do.
I know the metal is not included. It's available too as a separate part. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Sorry for jumping late guys, but how much work is it to install these aftermarket rubber parts? Mind is a bit dinged but not awful... Thanks! Greg
From what I've read by others here who have installed the OEM part it's not a big deal. The rubber part is pop riveted on. Drill the rivets, remove, reinstall and re-rivit. Done. I haven't receive mine yet. There was some mistake with the shipping and it went back to Ferrparts. It's being resent next week. I haven't decided if I'm going to do it myself yet or send it out. I'll see when I get the parts and decide. I'll post before and after pictures at the least. That being said I'm fairly sure the picture at the top of this thread IS the part I bought. OEM says Mondial on it. These don't.
Sorry, but I am in Italy and the price of 355 USD = 261 euro for only 1 R.H. Pillar for My Mondial T 1992 is no normal because the price for ONE TOP (capote) is 600 euro !!! Now I think to buy one Pillar used in one car breaking !!!
I didn't want to spend $300.00 on a pair of pillars, but there's no telling how long they will be available. Plus, I think a used one will probably cost you at least $300.00 for one, probably more.
