    Has any mounted one of their rearview mirrors. I have an '07 Spider which is like new except (got rid of all the sticky surfaces for $2.08 plus tax using a purple degreaser from Walmart - took 10 minutes - surfaces feel like new and all the lettering is in-tack) for the mirror which is deteriorating around the edge of the mirror glass. I see ads from these people in AutoWeek and rather than paying for another overpriced Ferrari mirror, these would make sense if the mount does not require modification. I'd like to get it with Homelink.

    That's great! Could you please post the label info for the Walmart degreaser?

    What technique did you use to remove the stickiness? Apply degreaser to cotton rag then rub gently? Then wipe with wet rag? Or what?

    The product is Clean Rite, Purple Power. I sprayed a drop on to a microfiber cloth and with my finger tip on the backside of the cloth, wiped it on and off 2 or 3 times depending upon how quickly the stickiness disappeared. The rag was dry (no water) and at the end, I just wiped the residue off with a clean portion of the cloth. The whole thing was ridiculously easy and very undramatic.
