Soooo...for the mature audience, here is it. I wished I could have been there 2 days earlier as the snow started to melt but not to despair! more snow is supposed to come tonight. I also found the correct plate tag for the car! "SNW-SBMRN". Hahaha instead of yellow he has the WHT-SBMRN. I suppose this has happened over the years around the world but the cars come up as "found" or "abandoned" countaches, while we are able to watch this one in the making. I find it crazy how someone can have the interest in high end cars but not the interest to care for it, at all.
All due respect but in this state I'm not sure it's a $200k example. Well, at least that isn't where I'm willing to "start the bidding". I think it could easily be a keeper with a little TLC.
Those pics are just crazy. Just to think that when that car came out, it was one of the most un obtainable cars on the planet. Just to look at it now
well around 200K for the best examples as we seen lately. Of course the value in this case has "snow seasoned" and other major depreciation. but this car is not for sale. It is only for display 24/7. No photoshop is right. I only cropped the picture to avoid displaying the surrounding houses. The 1st pic was from the late morning and my neighborgh (not even a car guy!) took me for the rest early PM so I could take more pictures hands free.. He wanted to see this too. We are getting another 5" today! yehaa!!
Peter, You are continuously posting comments about the owner being a junkie. Should you be doing that on a public forum, over and over again, given you don't know the owner. I think we all know how much crap can be spread about people due to what they own. Doesn't mean it's the truth.
I agree, even joke comments can go too far.. we can however think and write that abandoning any Lambo is "stupid"
I NEVER directly stated the owner was a crackhead/drug addict. Since the beginning I have carefully crafted my words NOT to directly state he is an addict. I do NOT know if he is a junkie. I have met him. I very easily can state my observation. But I will not state them. I made a glass pipe references and stated That "I" might think he's a crack head but never said he was. Junkie or not, he was rather pleasant and friendly, a nice guy. He loves the Countachs.
^^ quoted from 3 years ago... still the truth. So this thing gets pushed around, or is it actually started up and "yard driven" ... we know it got flat bedded to the front of some local restaurant
Not surewhere things stand. Cars moved away one by one. Owner is living next town up now. Tried to get in touch with him but it probably would take a cop to get a valid phone number on him.
Sent you a message, CountachQV! Just had the pleasure to read through this thread about the mystery car in CT. What I would do is ask that guys neighbors at his previous home for his name, then write a letter to the address where he used to live with that name and hopefully, it would get forwarded!
lol Don't you guys think that countachqv and myself would keep that car to ourselves if he was to let it go
