25th handles best, followed by Lowbody. I base this on multiple examples of all Countach variants owned.
Gee, how cool of a statement is that. We can hear the smile on your face. Multiple ownership....very cool.
Use the same setting for the rear on the QV (toe in) and they will hande same, that's the only difference between these two models.
Sure - forget any tire development that occurred and assigned to the various countach models over those years. History rewritten again. -mick
Here you go. There were two supplied in green to the UK in RHD - lighter emerald green and a dark green. THe dark green looks black most of the time... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Am i right to think there's more headroom in a 25th over earlier CT's due to the new seat design ? reason I ask is that I'm sure Ive seen it posted in this thread as above but I'm rereading the main CT thread from the beginning and saw someone (paul328 I think) say there's more room in a Qv.
Thanks Joe. So how do the sports seats compare to both the 25th power seats AND the original CT buckets for headroom ?
They're the best seat fitted in any variant of Countach, in terms of headroom, back support etc. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
looks great, is the green metallic? sadly the green cars have probably been repainted a more common colour now. unless any one has a resent pic of a green 25th.
Both are still green. Dunno about metallic. The dark green car looks black in many photos and a recent ad when it was sold.
humm... i thought Pzeros were also on late Qv's. Either way, it would be hard to believe that the Zero was a huge leap over the 7 but even if it was, it doesn't matter now as it seems most qv's Now wear pzeros since they have been more readily available.
Original equipment for all QVs = P7s. Original equipment for all 25ths = PZeros. The obvious point Mick was making (albeit not without tongue-in-cheek) is that tire development from P7 to PZero was a huge handling step forward!
LP400 - Michelin XWX. LP400S, LP500S, LP500QV - Pirelli P7. 25th - Pirelli PZero. The only reason that the earlier cars (besides LP400) wear PZeros is that their original equipment is no longer available.
I suspect Pirelli would argue that point ;-). And there was a documented suspension change done on the 25th to work with the pZero. -mick
