This looks promising, unusual subject in 1/18 scale https://ck-modelcars.de/en/eur/p/17079/ferrari-250-gt-breadvan-no8-brands-hatch-class-winner-1962-1-18-fujimi/fjm1218001/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
I 've been waiting for this model for quite some time and monitoring Ebay but now it's already sold out?!
Still available here, for example: Ferrari 250 GT Breadvan, No.8, SSS Scuderia Serenissima, Guards Trophy - Brands Hatch , 1:18, Fujimi - Modelcar - Model Car World
I don't think they will sell out that quick there are still a bunch of F50GT's available from the same company
And you know they will do the Lemans car next anyway. Looks like the APM 1/18th kit from the photos I have seen. I do not collect 1/18th but I do monitor them.
I've got the Breadvan in 1:12... I've been wanting a 1:18 to go with it... the Brands Hatch version is cool, but I'd rather have the LeMans version. With that said, I'd rather have the Brands Hatch version than no version... Hmmmmm... can't decided if I should go for it or not...
Take your time, give it another month and ebay will be flooded wit it...as someone already said, there are still plenty of f 50 gts....alythough i believe the breadvan is more desirable....but i wan´t both of them...
I can't find this model anywhere in US. Is there are reason for this? Were these made only for the EU market?
I think maybe they're just making their way stateside at this point... I'm surprised to see that Morry hasn't chimed in to add some commentary, he's usually in the know on these things.
Hes's probably stacking them!!! I´m pretty sure soon enough he will be here selling them like hot cookies...
Can be bough here, for now: TSM Fujimi Ferrari 250 GT Breadvan Brands Hatch 1962 8 1 18 Scale New Release | eBay No affiliation That is where I ordered mine from when I got negative responses from my normal sellers. Sounds like this one may be hard to get. I've ordered things from this guy/place before and had a good experience each time.
Thanks nopassn for the tip and link... I bought it for my collection as I always wanted one which I thought the price was fair enough. I'm afraid eventually as this model will be difficult to acquire and the price will also climb upwards.
I think so, too... I do believe they will release it later with the #16 as raced at LeMans - if/when they do I will probably sell the one I've got coming for that version, as that's the livery it was in when I was lucky enough to sit in it at the Christie's Auction several years ago. If he doesn't, I surely will... should look good next to my 1:12 version.
i found this in Germany http://www.modelcarworld.de/uk/Fujimi/188475/Modelcar-Ferrari-250-GT-Breadvan-No.8-SSS-Scuderia-Serenissima-Guards-Trophy-Brands-Hatch.htm?userid=7590123 Julius
Here is my APM 1/12th scale Lemans 1962 250 Breadvan. I did alot of modifications on it including replacing the wire wheels and re shapping the nose and rearend. They did a better job on the 1/18th kit they did a few years after this kit. Amazing Model Tom, congrats, looks really spectacular!!! From the pictures i have seen seems like Fujimi also did a great job, i'm sure the model will be a stunner..
That's stunning Tom... I've got the same 1:12, but mine is without decals/livery of any kind. Perhaps I could talk you in to adding the livery to mine sometime..?
Just checked my tracking info... looks like mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow... I'll post pics when it does.
