I agree. I think moderation is the highest form of ambassadorship. I always thought that went without saying.

 

Last years winner was Steve Magnusson who I can't think of as a better ambassador for Fchat. I don't know anyone out there with a Testarossa who doesn't have Steve to thank for something or other.

It's not a beauty contest. Its about people helping people.

 

I voted for Taz... A lot of people owe him a lot for his invaluable advice.

I voted for Terry, also. He posts some great info, is helpful each time I have asked a question, and posts throughout the FChat across a number of threads.

 

I, too, voted for Terry - after much silent deliberation. It's hard to pass up some of the other names, but for me personally, Terry is like a fountain of information - literally a gushing spring of "hey, here's this" and "hey, did you know that" and "hey here are some chassis numbers and chassis types" and "hey, here's every conceivable impossibly minute detail about Maranellos that even the factory can't tell you."

And while I'm flattered, names like mine should really not be on this list. I spend way more time looking for information here, than I do giving it; not that I'm a succubus, but maybe more of a barnacle.

 

I hereby toss all my votes to Taz, someone truly worth the title.

 

As did I, for all the reason you pointed out and more. He really is hugely valuable asset to this site. I, like you don't think I deserve to be on the list, and you contribute a hell of a lot more content than I do.

 

You could be Carbarnacle McCoy, then....lol

In keeping with the wishes of the prize provider, there really shouldn't be any campaigning. If anyone expresses interest in one candidate over another, that could sway votes. We wouldn't want that!

 

I'm tossing some Fchat swag into the prize pack.

I have the last FerrariChat mug available on the P;anet Earth,along with a tee/polo shirt and maybe a FerrariCaht cap.

Even though everyone on this list is deserving, except me, and Carbon, Taz got my vote as well. He solves problems for a lot of Ferrari owners and makes the site a destination of choice for many.

 

you are a hell of a lot more deserving than me.

I voted for Rick Lederman (my nominee, and you gotta love someone that has 75k miles of Ferraris in 2 years, even in the snow!) but Taz is a great contributor to this forum and a really nice guy.

 

Many deserving candidates there. I voted for Leead1 - super nice guy with an absolutely incredible collection of cars that he uses. He's always willing to provide insight and commentary, never mean spirited.

 

Seeing this list makes it easy to understand why I spend so much time on here...what a great group of contributors to this great community. Good stuff.

But, if we must honor only one member now, If I could find the place to vote I would vote for terry.

I can't see polls in Tapatalk, either... not sure if that's universal, or just with certain phones (I'm on Android).
