Wow, that is a very interesting statement. May I ask how you came to that conclusion ? As an American that owns a number of Lamborghinis including a Countach I would be very interested in the research you did on the condition on American owned Countach. No offense taken, just interested on how you came up with that ?

Alberto does have a point. Lamborghini owners in Italy have better access to original parts & the old school craftsmanship/materials is truly second to none. Just look at Alberto's car as an example.

The craftsmanship of vintage Lamborghini in the US can be somewhat matched by a select few in the US and the few that are in that are capable of producing outstanding results in the US are dying off or too old to work.

I've seen this car somewhere before. I believe this one was built one or two after mine.

That is a very nice car. Soon we'll be saying remember when you could have had that car in the $280's? I remember 2 years ago everyone was saying $150k was too much for a 2v 5000S. =)

Try high 2's to low 3's. I turned down <<<<====== between those numbers twice just before the holidays, my car wasn't even for sale. Every so often one of my good clients says to me so.... is she for sale? Each time I tell him ask my kid in about 15 years.

    Noticed the same thing.

The pictures of this car look surreal, like a perfect model. Check out the shape/lighting around the front fenders. Looks very nice.

    Holy 4X4 Batman!

I know the 5000S is a highbody, but dayum, that thing is up there.

Also, how straight is the body seam under the rocker! They weren't that straight from the factory!

Do you prefer the box muffler? If muffler is leaking would you take the opportunity and install an Ansa?

Unfortunately it's not the muffler but the left rear header which seems to leak where the 3 go into 1.

First we thought of a plug being fouled, but I checked all of them, replaced the distributor rotor (Cap is new) and started again, then on a sudden we saw that the insulation chatters ( I have my headers wrapped).

Need to ask Emilio for some SS headers from his Ansa colleagues, but my car doesn't have the standard headers, they're wider in diameter.

    Hi Raymond,

I don't think heat wrapping is a good idea.
I almost did that to my LM002 Ansa headers but after inputs from fellows here and from other forums I went with ceramic coating instead.

    Thanks Emilio,
I just measured the Diameter, they are 45mm, I plan also to ceramic coat them.
Please let me know what is possible.

I think we could reweld the old headers but they are still old and are prone to fail again.

    I thought he wasn't selling it? 250K Euro = 343,400 US that's probably a good starting point.
