I have for sale a used Capristo Level 2 exhaust. Bought it for my 360 but got rid of the car before I had a chance to install it. Includes can, tips, and mounting bracket. Will get pictures up ASAP. Asking $2500 obo.
I have a 2004 360 Spider with stock exhaust system. I want a system that is a bit more aggressive sounding, but I would like to be able to hear the sound system. The car will not be raced on the track. Also, I would like a better looking system from can to tips. Which system would you all prefer, and why? I am considering: fabspeed, capristo, tubi, others?
Will definitely fit a spider. I chose it over a tubi or other system because IMHO the capris to exhausts not only sound great, but are very well built. In addition, their mounting bracket helps minimize the mounting problems with factory brackets. Lastly, a level 3 was too loud for me and my spider, so I went with the level 2 as a good compromise.
Just installed Ferrari OEM racing exhaust on my Modena and it's really nice. Check it out before you decide.
I have a level 3 Capristo, hear conversations and the stereo just fine...and what a howl...driving a 04 spider
Strange question, do you know the weight of the exhaust? I have a US shipping address but from there I need to transport internationally so need to know the weight (and size of the package if possible as well)
I will have to get a weight and dimensions to ship, as components are currently wrapped up. Do you know if it's better for you to ship in multiple small boxes or one larger box?
Multiple smaller boxes is better... thanks for doing this, could be very timely as I have a small blow from the oe fitment exhaust on the car at the moment!
Working on the boxes... tips and bracket fit in a smaller box just need to find something for the main exhaust.
Sorry- had to find a box big enough and tough enough to handle this: BOX 1: 15x17x33 34lbs (main exhaust) BOX 2: 26x15x5 17lbs (tips and mounting bracket)
Ouch.... total cost of shipping for me is a minimum of $1400 plus whatever customs decides to charge me. I think I'm going to have to leave it until I'm next in the US and carry one back in my luggage as nearly $3.5k landed is just too rich for me at the moment.
Derek, shipping can't be that high, i shipped via USPS (8/10 business days) 4 wheels and tires from Las Vegas to Sweden for $628. Total of 2 boxes weight 50 each and 2 weight 40 pounds each. Check again, shipper can send via USPS for less that $500 to Dubai. Just my 2 cents !
Hi just shipped a360cs exhaust from atlanta to the uk using fedex the shipping cost was $400 then i had to pay 20%vat plus 4.5% import duty.
That would be awesome if I can get the shipping for that... I must be doing something wrong, through shop and ship (my normal method of getting parts from the US to Dubai) it was almost $1400 plus the clearance charges this end (about $125 or so) Then I tried Fedex and UPS and they were nearer $3k usd plus the customs. I don't know how to get a price from USPS, I've got a flat out few days ahead but I'll try and do some more quotes as I'd love to have this system, mine's really starting to sound a little tired now!
