    I'm working in Hamilton for a few weeks and am staying at the Best Western Premier - Carmen hotel. Each room is designated with a famous Italian icon. I got the Ferrari room this week. Its a cool double suite with Enzo photos on the wall and Ferrari Legendary books to read. Other rooms pay tribute to Sinatra, Martin, DaVinci, Sophia Loren, Prada, Gucci, Michelangelo. Fantastic Italian restaurant within also.

    Great hotel and great owners. I know them personally. They are the Mercanti family. They also own the Carmens Banquet hall next door. We have jointly brought and produced the evenings with Al Pacino, Sylvester Stallone and Tony Bennett to their banquet centre for local fundraising events.

    Per the front desk - that is a common complaint from guests, that there are photos of the famous personalities above the toilets in many rooms. Other than that issue, I give this hotel 5 stars.

    Maybe a picture of a Team Ferrari rival like David Coulthard or someone LOL!

    This looks like a really cool hotel. If I ever need a room in Hamilton I'll look it up. They should make a chain of these, or even hotels could do the theme when events are on like FCA International meets or the like.

    I've stayed in 5-6 of the suites and the only one that didn't have a portrait above the toilet was the Frank Capra room. It has a movie ad poster above the john. The strangest one was the Martin Scorsese suite, as his eyes seemed to follow you everywhere in the room. lol

    What a fantastic way to alleviate the boredom of sameness in hotel rooms.

    These owners are brilliant.
    That's what happens when someone steps outside of the box!
