    Well I assume the original owner, it was back in ~ 2005. I can say this car always drew lots of attention at Crystal Cove an the owner at the time said, not Bugatti Blu, Lemans Blue, etc, custom color. Maybe he was dust BS'ing to prevent other owners from copying, who knows, but absolutely stunning car regardless.

    Prices have been slowly creeping upwards. I remember 139425 being for sale just a couple years ago with nearly half the mileage for $20k less. How times have changed. CS an overnight classic? Nah, it's been in the making for years.

    It's possible that a greater proportion are in good condition due to the more cosseted lives that many would lead over standard cars. The CSs are generally the later model year cars also so they're not as old as the population. I'd say they're the same (sad) construction though.

    According to the garage this car has now been sold. When I previously spoke to them they told me the following:

    - It has one stamp in the service book other than the recent pre-sale service.
    - It has a "Syntex Kupplung" which results in gear changes are not smooth but works well for racing.
    - The original parts do not come with the car (an ad from the previous time it was sold stated that all of the original parts came with the car that time).

    I believe that one is one of the two launch combinations from way back which means it didn't have a stripe then. Gorgeous.
