I would still say Rosso Dino I've seen a lot of picture of Rosso Dino under direct sunlight and the color always looks more orange than red. Anyway, still a beauty !
Could it be Rosso Scuderia with a weird filter on the shot??? It could be Rosso Dino with a weird filter on the shot for that matter as well..
Its Gerald B's 134278, Rosso Dino 134278 | Joe Sackey Classics Rosso Dino, special-ordered by him in this color, the hue changes with the light. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Agreed - photo was taken at this past year's Ferrari Concours in Pasadena, CA. Here's another uniquely painted Enzo in the service area at Graypaul Nottingham. https://scontent-b-lax.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc3/t31/1655699_738110756207603_787294533_o.jpg Quite like that one and I am not typically fond of red. ^Hard to tell, but if it's a Ferrari color, I would guess Rosso Fiorano...which I quite like, although it doesn't look all that nice on an Enzo.
Indeed it is. Car is owned by former EVO contributor Paul B. He purchased the car in 2006 and it has been featured in the magazine a few times. Factory delivered Rosso Corsa it was given a colour change after a fairly minor track incident.
135889 was originally Rosso Corsa but after a small accident in 2007 it was repainted in a custom shade of red mixed specifically for Paul Bailey. I saw the car in Ireland some time ago and, IMO, pictures don't do the color any justice.
Thought you guys might be interested in this UK car. Regret I don't have the VIN or ownership details. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Huh. I've never seen the two structural rods that connect the backside of the roof to the trailing edge of the rear bulkhead paint-matched. Does anyone know if that was a special-ordered item or done after delivery?
Very beautiful car and photo! I believe this is the Enzo which was used by EVO magazine for the comparative test with the Carrera GT couple of years back. Here is the link: Porsche Carrera GT v Ferrari Enzo review and pictures | evo
It is the same car. Originally painted Rosso Corsa, it was repainted in its current colour after what looked to be a minor on track incident. The same car has actually been in EVO magazine on a few occasions. September 2006 issue compared to Veyron, Carrera GT, and editor Metcalfe's Zonda. Issue 100 it was used to set a track time along with many other cars. Before the F1FER plate, it wore UK plate P4ULB.
Yes, i know. I have all the issues of EVO magazine! Amazing car but i don't like the painted structural rods.
I agree. I don't have a problem with the repainted color itself, but, its funny how a small non-original detail like the painted chassis reinforcements can affect the overall appreciation.
I saw the orange Enzo with a red one a couple months ago. It was interesting to compare them side by side. Image Unavailable, Please Login
very cool!.. i wonder if the towhook on the RC enzo is for moving the car without "accumulating" extra miles on the odometer
