Just to make sure we get a good one, will one of you guys going to Geneva please take a direct profile shot of the California T with the roof up? Thanks! The factory photos of the car with the roof up are from an angle looking down, and don't allow for an exact comparison with the profile photos of the car with the roof down, which are directly from the side. Thanks, again.

Also please get a build sheet, or option sheet. Also please determine what is coming with the car and what are the options. Pricing etc. :)

A good friend of mine has now 'heard' it at Fiorano. We have nothing to fear as apparently fantastic. Also from those who have driven it, mid range torque is unbelievable and they have had to down tune it to keep distance from the 458.

Finally, in case you have not read on another thread, the new infotainment system, as predicted, is the first fruit of Apple cooperation and will run iOS. All apps etc on your iPhone will simply appear on screen. Brilliant and so long overdue in the automotive world.

I will ask for them to take the roof up and take a picture. I will also check the headroom and report back (I'm a little over 6'1").

The car sounds good, you could hear it on a video at the Modena presentation. I uploaded a recording of the video on youtube for my friends to hear but the quality isn't the best. You can just about hear the engine over all the overly dramatic music (very good speakers or headphones recommend, it's HARD to hear it)

From experience they don't hand out any options list or build sheets at shows. Price in my region will be approximately $430,000 OTR (f***ed up tax system) with the first cars arriving around September.

Forgot to mention, someone queried whether there would be any more room in the dwarf rear seats. The answer is yes as apparently they have saved a good amount of space with the thickness and new design of front seats.

Well they'll still be useless for transport any human being larger than a small child, like in a 911. Yes you can probably fit some medium sized adults in the front and rear (albeit with the roof down), the question is for how do you want your backseat friends to suffer? The backseats are a good place for putting your shopping bags and other smaller luggage, that's about it for me.

Thanks for posting. You can hear the sound which sounds like a nice "quality" Ferrari sound. But you can't tell anything about volume. This should be good meat for the afteramrket exhaust vendors.

Thank you, as I said the quality is pretty pathetic but I uploaded it because it's better than nothing. Within a few weeks they will release the official promo and we will all hear it properly then. Not to mention when the journalists get around to testing it in Maranello and releasing their own videos.

LOVE IT!!!! I don't know the interior but that's the exterior color I would choose.

I don't want the black roof though.

What I don't like... the wheels. Boring.

Don't like the silver defuser fins at the back. Looks plastic-y.

Notice how high up the shield is on the fender to get out of the way of the side undercut?

That tells me a big NO to a black roof. Single colour.

Wow, didn't notice the shields until now! They're really high up and angled lol.

Completely agree with you on the diffusor fins. I would not want these in anything other than a very dark shade or CF. Reminds me of that huge piece of plastic on the F12's ass. Looks so cheap...

For some strange reason I have an issue with the taillights. I don't like the gradual tinting and I don't like the small clear glass dot in the middle for the reversing light. The style of taillights used by the other current Ferrari's with a larger clear glass roundel in the center, would look much more pleasing than that tiny white spec.

How much you wanna bet that making it without the black roof is EXTRA. :)

Everybody is unsure about the looks until they see the car in person! :) Something with the sharp design edges of Ferrari's these days which for me at least, make them look much better in real life than on pictures. Glad it's like that and not the other way around.

I'm not seeing hideousness. What's not working for you with the colors? The black roof?

I actually like the black roof - guess I'm in the minority there. But the shields look wrong - I don't have a philosophical problem with them on the car but there's just not enough sheet metal to make room for them.

Good point about the wheels - not awful, but not distinctive either.

Love that shot. It's so much better looking than old CA.

I agree. This is what it should have been from the beginning. It's interesting the grille treatment. The vertical grates are black.

A neat treatment on the grill. It makes it look wider.
