Tried the ZX12R, it was actually pretty amazing but not the prettiest thing cosmetically. But from a completely different age. The ZX14 was a 2007 (first year), it's super comfortable, loads of power but will be great for longer trips and I won't be hating it after a few hundred km. Where'd you go?
Oh geez...I didn't even pick up on your model change! Excellent choice. I'm surprised you find it comfy, but there ya go. Down to the very twisty parts of Gippsland. You should come next time.
There's something to be said for a 1.4 litre 4 cylinder running at 3k revs down the freeway rather than a V twin doing 5-6k revs. Just feels super relaxed and a good seating position. Cool, would be easy to do that many km on these types of bikes.
hmmm...interesting. I used to find my ZZR1100 a bit uncomfortable after a long ride....but yes...400km or so is easy enough.
Anyone else want to come along next time? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

It did one trip and needs a full rebuild? EDIT: Also, I didn't think there were any bikes that still came with centre stands. They seem to have disappeared, or maybe they just aren't on the type of bikes I look at.
