    I had the good fortune to see the Canadian Lanc at the Abottsford Air Show some years back. I also saw the Vulcan fly, too. Both beautiful airplanes but the Lancaster was the best. At full throttle the sound was making goosebumples. Beautiful in the air.

    I'm fortunate enough to live not even 30 minutes away from the War plane museum in Hamilton Ontario. I see the Lancaster flying around all the time, among other war birds they fly regularly.

    It almost brings a tear to my eye to hear about this! My uncle Harry was a Lancaster pilot in the war and was in the first bombing run over Berlin. He only ever told one story of his time in the war. The rest kept to himself.

    I'll bet the planes flying together will be a SIGHT to see also... :) :)
