Speciale on race track. This is the race track I know better and usually used with my Gt3.I will try to discover the lap time they permormed, to make a comparaison.. Enjoy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQdFb04jwl4&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Since you are more expert than me about Ferrari in general, can you help to understand which speed the Speciale reaches at the end of the main straight?with my Gt3 just before hard braking (about 3 seconds after I insert the 4th gear) I reach around 195/198 km/h.Then hard braking and nice right turn.. The Speciale seems to use the full 4th gear and partially the 5th gear. Can you or someone to extimate which would be the relative speed reached in the same straight by the Speciale? for info my Gt3 is the MKII with 435 hp.. Possibly Tom Tom 77 or BigBlock 747 could help too
The Manettino is Set to CT-Off. In this mode the SSC is still active... Edit: had a look at the video again... Must have been in CST-off mode, so SSC is inactive... If the speedo points straight up that's 180 km/h. So I guess he should have been well above 200... Can evaluate the max-speeds in third and fourth gear in the next days...
Good question, to see the speed at the end of the straight I need to consult the datas which are stored in the car. I usually just care about brake points, turn in points, gear changes and at least -lap times. i guess I reach around 200 km/h but a speciale reach maybe higher topspeed while my Racecar is much faster in corners. Due to the aeroconfiguration, my F430 GT3 Scuderia topspeed is less even when I have around 550 HP. As you can see, The GT3 Wing isnt very helpfull for topspeed, but it is in corners Image Unavailable, Please Login

Great sound leaving the pits...questionable driving skills but looked like alot of fun. Wouldnt be surprised if he hit 200kph on the straight ;-)
Clever! I actually went back to the German articles, since I learned German as a doctoral candidate. Seriously, such a pity to lose such a rare car so quickly. And in such a senseless accident. I had an idiot run a light and total a car I loved once. It wasn't my fault, there was no way to avoid it, and I still get sick thinking about it. It was just a VW Jetta Carat, but I loved it. Can't imagine what the Speciale owner is thinking. Cheers, George
Only for internal use. Unfortunately it does not look like Ferrari are going to launch a public configurator for the Speciale, which is a shame. It's been 6 months since the unveil and they still haven't updated to website from "special" to normal mode!
Yeah, this is pretty idiotic. I've been waiting for it, myself. They had a public version for the Scud, a public version for the 599 GTO. Come on, Ferrari. Some of your buyers like to build their own cars without having to go into a dealership. Why? Time constraints. We're busy folks.
Yes ! )) (that was my first time I drove in Franciacorta and first time with the GT3 so I had my driver instructor with me) [ame]http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rIt9vsvsBNM[/ame]
Thanks to Tom Tom I think I mad my best decision with out the audio. Haven't you heard his vid nor the car it's self? Just wait few months and maybe Ferrari will put the apple thing on too just joking. Thoe my dealer told me there may be minor changes down there. But for shure I just want my car! ASAP
Well guys i've been absolutely SHAFTED by my UK dealership - I had a call yesterday after my deposit had been on the car for almost a year and I had signed off on my spec at the Atelier that if I wanted my car in May as originally indicated I would have to add another £25,000 worth of extras, or else they wouldn't build my car until March next year. So WTF!!?? Has anyone else in the UK experienced this? Thanks
That is simple incredible. Someone else in the uk mentioned this in another thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just back from Geneva where they had this Grigio Ferro Speciale-looked absolutely brilliant. Image Unavailable, Please Login
