Their TV coverage is good though! ;)

We (?) just watched Sergio's little 'moment' from about 5 different angles. :)

Shame they sound like ****. :(

That's a good way of saying it. A huge part of F1 is hearing the cars sound like they're tearing the world apart.

Take deep breaths, carry on. It's the 80s revisited for a while.

You don't want to know. :(

And Charlie's 'not likely to happen' scenario looks increasingly likely this far....

Anyone in the US not liking the action might tune into Turner Classic Movies. LeMan just ended and Grand Prix just starting!

I'm staggered that sitting 30m from the track it's not even close to being loud.

DON'T WASTE MONEY ON EAR PLUGS. lol

What are you talking about? TV is a combo of audio and visuals. It's not like they sound horrible AND are ugly as sin....oh wait.

Are they getting us ready for the exciting electric car races? Not the turbo sound I remember at Long Beach. Not happy.

Wow. Ferrari's first pre-season fire-up caused a fire within seconds. Did no know that!

    Cheers,

Yeah, I said the coverage is good, but this pretty much sucks.

Most of us are watching the same, and seems we're all pissed....

I've been to Monza and walked the infield in 2008. Literally 10 feet away from the cars and the sound was amazing!! I'll never forget it... My race car had a turbo with a very short open exhaust and it sounds like hell compared to my 458

Not the 80's at all, not by a long shot.

Pissed is correct! Hopefully the reliability part will create some excitement...

Have to say, the engine note is not very attractive. Sounds like a bunch of landscapers running their leafblowers! Nasty!

Yeah, we're all missing the Ferrari V-12 sound right now.
