    LoL...

bring back those damn V10s. I hope this will be a *****ty season overall, so that the FIA will learn to listen to fans more than those prius owners.

I'm very much with this guy! Unfortunate really. The most enjoyable part of that was aging with the app.

Look at all the cars that didn't even make it onto the track.

This! They sound like ass-blah! It could be an ad for Playtex Living Gloves, with all the crews in their rubber gloves. 3 seconds off last years P1 times, not impressed.

On my way home to play the DVr and hear what the cars sound like although based on the comments it seems my deepest fears have been realized.

I could forgive them for being 3 seconds off..... These things are very new. They're on wooden(ish) tires after last years debacle. They've got less D/F. OK.

I could even forgive them the rubber gloves.... Don't want anyone killed when they grab the sucker.....

    But the sound!? Oh dear.

And reliability? I have a suspicion Charlie may need to flag it early.......

    Cheers,
    Ian

They just need to move the mic. I'm sure if they put it at the back of the car it wouldn't sound so sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

In fairness, seems they all suck equally right now - Those that did manage a timed lap are all well within 107...... 'So at least they've got that going for them.....'

We may just get a close race.

Until they all break down anyway.

    Cheers,
    Ian

I don't think the pace will stay that far off. I'd bet they end up within 1 sec of last year's pole.

Can't help you on the sound though. Blame the FIA...neither Bernie nor the teams asked for this.
