I agree with you but i don't think it's a bad idea to have pictures with old crashed Ferraris.

    maybe disturbing but interesting anyway!
some of these cars will appear on todays market with factory certificate and in "mint condition".

this GTO 3647GT represents north of 40 Million $ today and even the SWB and the Aston in the pic are worth millions. who would care that the cars have been heavily crashed in period?

Around the photo from the italian magazine "L'Automobile" n°19 - May,12, year 1968, I don't know the serial number. The plate is black even on the original photo. I have no idea which side has been realized in Italy.

As in previous attempts of similar threads, perhaps some find it disturbing if not down right sickening to publicly display and perpetuate images of events often involving serious or even horrifying physical injuries and/or deaths ? There might even be current owners of such vehicles who may not wish to be reminded of this portion of history of their possession by some indiscreet soul who "read it on the i-net" every time they venture to offer the said vehicle for event or show.

you can never hide the car´s history. it is part of its fascination and its value.
why do buyers pay significantly more for race winners? history!
if a car has dark spots in his history the owner has to deal with it.
if you cant, dont buy it.
just close your eyes and everything is fine?

Maybe we should erase all WWI and WWII footage aswell? Well no right, because it's an important part of history, like crash images of a significant car.
