Was there a change in the 355 tool kit over the production of the car? Mine from my '98 spider looks smaller than some I see in photos. If you look at mine from one end, its basically square and then there is a separate "fix a flat" bottle. Some that I see appear to be larger.

I'm in opposite situation. I have a toolkit that seems too large for my 1990 348ts. It would be awesome if someone could post CORRECT tool kit photos for 348 and 355. I think there are several variants for both cars. I could not find any info about it in forum archives.

My 97 Berlinetta's tool kit is like Trojanfan's and Yron's.

I noticed in the photo above that there is a sparse tire. does the large tool kit have a jack in it? I have the small kit, no spare, no jack and a can of fix a flat. I understand that the spare tire was an option.

The large tool kit does not have a jack. I did not have the factory spare (was hard to find). The spare you see is a 355 front rim and tire that I used for a spare. I bought a Ferrari jack on eBay that I kept in the trunk (quite pricey but I'm sure a generic scissors jack may also work if the top portion of the jack fits in the frame slot). Here's a photo of the large tool kit (tow hook is out).

That's funny. I have the "fix a flat" can in the gray case however it is separate from the tool kit. My tool kit is half the size of you case. I'll try to post a photo tomorrow.

YRONZFF - Where are you on Ohau? Are there any other 355's there? I'm thinking about moving back and my bring mine if I do. Also rossa/tan spider.

Seems like some men have bigger toolkits than others.

I'm in Hawaii Kai. My former rosso/tan 355 spider is still on Oahu. As far as 355's there's a yellow one, a blue spider, a red GTS (maybe 2) and a red berlinetta that I know of.

Did you live here at one time?

If anyone wants to swap, PM me. I have the larger vertical 355 kit WITH fix a flat just like in the photo above. It is in pristine condition with all unused accessories, bulbs, etc. I need a kit for 1990 348ts. I thought they were all the same and bought the wrong one. The one I need is like this:

Mine is like that as well which is the one that Ricambi shows. Where did the larger on come from?

Maybe those with the larger took kit are compensating for less elsewhere?

I lived in Pearl Ridge and Hawaii Kai back in the early '80's. Went to UH for a year before USC. Looking for some business ventures to get me living back there at least part time.

UH took a beating from USC last year ... but then we did go 1-11 so we took a beating from everyone! Hope you get a chance to make it back!
