Final version of the same Ad campaign.

I love period Ads as they depict the impact of the car in popular culture of the period.

I thought so. I've been looking for that cloth material for a number of years now. Everyone I've contacted seems to just dismiss my requests.

Curious what happened with this Miura sitting in the Breakers parking lot during the Cavallino Classic back in January. Looked like it had just rolled out of a barn. Cool to see.

Here is the Car in the showroom at Straight 8 in August 1992 - I have included the other cars in the showroom as they were amazing:

    Lamborghini Miura S
    Aston Martin Lagonda
    Large Bentley (Continental Flying Spur?)
    Maserati 3500GTI (Maroon)
White car I can't ID (I'm sure the collective bright eyes here can ID it)
    Mercedes 600 Pullman
    Ferrari Testarossa (black)
    Ferrari 512bb (red)
Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato SanctionII (green)
    Lamborghini Countach Anniversary (red)

    Wonderful!

Both of my cars have the cloth seat inserts... would be great to find that material in case I need it someday!

Has anyone found anything close to it? Or the carpet in the Miura?

Follow up question - how many RHD Miura S and Miura P400 were there?

I have heard that there were 7 RHD Miura S imported into the UK, but like the SVs there were probably more sent to other countries.

P400s - I have no idea - must be at least 10 UK cars, at a guess?

    Any ideas?

Nice, I can almost hear the sound its making! Your P400 looks so right.

I just placed a phenomenal historic P400 with an enthusiast home, the ex-Briggs Cunningham P400 3249. The early lightweight Miuras seem to be gaining favor.

    Thanks.

Congratulations on the sale. The Briggs Miura looks like an interesting car. I have a period postcard of it, that shows some of its unique details. Any chance you could share some more photos of it? In addition to the cosmetic changes, where there any performance changes made to the car?

    Cheers Jim
