I pumped up the tires. :(

She's been sitting for way too long now, but belt service is due and there's an odd noise coming from the alternator. And I'm working too damn much to dig into it. Might give the local guru a call just because I don't have the fricken time. I miss driving my car.

I have a place in Vero, but no cars there. Hard to find winding roads. Unless it's a race track, which Fl has many. Enjoy it.

Interesting that someone painted the spoiler black across the front.

yes there are few things I will have to correct but its a very honest car overall...I forgot how small, elegant and beautiful these cars are.....Are these going to follow the Dino's trajectory?

IMO, not going to follow Dinos. The 308 is just beautiful from any angle, not a bad line on the car. Regardless I would not buy one as an investment. Unless your investing in fun/joy.

Changed the oil & filter - 9 fresh quarts of Brad Penn 20w50 and a new Baldwin B253 filter - plus the obligatory "get the new oil circulated" drive afterwards...

These cars age, but they never get old.

Been fiddling with the lights. My aerial died, so I installed an automatic one, and after wiring it up, had no use for the aerial switch. After much pondering, and by using 3 relays, I've now utilised it as the "parking lights without headlights up" switch - pull back for on, push forward for off. I've also removed the ashtray insert, and have a mini toggle switch mounted in there to control the "flash to pass" lights, which are now 100W spots, which I can have on with the high beam, or switch them on by themselves if I'm feeling... funky.

As with every mod I've done, there are no cut wires, drilled holes, or visible evidence, and it's all reversible.

I had to move it a few inches to the left to free up some garage space.
I hate to start it and not get the temps up so I took it out for an hour or so. The things we do for the good our cars.

I thought I posted this today... oh well. Sorry if it's a repost:

put in a CTEK 3300 so I can access it through the right front wheel well. It looks like a std Ferrari, but the connector is different. Better late than never.

But while I was in there, I noticed the securing ear for the fan was broken so I pulled that to JBWeld it and noticed the fan was kinda frozen. It probably hasn't worked for a while and I'm surprised I didn't blow a fuse. So time to tear apart the SPAL motor. It's not tough. cleaned the armateur, brushes, etc etc. Put her back together and she's spinning. A little noisy, but working. She doesn't blow much air. No wonder the A/C & Heater aren't too swift.

I installed prototype II of a rear valance to replace my diaper. This is a project I have been working on over the winter. The valance is aluminum and replaces the bracket that supports the rear edge of the diaper.

I will be curious to see how the heat effects the paint.

I've started a euro rear bumper conversion
Boy that US bumper is heavy, especially when it falls onto you when your lying on your back undoing the nuts!

Hello Jeremy, I'm waiting for delivery of my new euro bumper from rennspd California. Where did you get yours? Please let me know if you encounter any issues with brackets and alignment etc.
My old US bumper was taking on water and the inside steel reinforcement was caked with rust. As you said...very heavy

The bolts on the Euro bumper I have (bought in the UK) don't quite align with the US brackets, and even if they did it would be impossible to put the nuts on from under the car. Rather than ordering new brackets I have removed the pistons and will open up the holes, attach the pistons to the bumper and refit the whole assembly back on the car. The pistons were already drilled to allow the US bumper to be pushed in, so when I find the right position I will, remove it all again and weld a couple of spots on the pistons to fix them in position and refit it all.
I'll take a few photos and post when I can. Good luck with yours. Jeremy
