    In this instance by removing the "s" in "https".

    Another common fix is removing the "&" if there is one b/w "watch?&v=".

    For some YouTube links it take a bit more editing; for example, trimming off a few extraneous characters at the end of the address.

    I figured this out simply by trial and error and I don't know the logic behind why these work.

    Post or PM me a sample YouTube link and I can show you what needs to be edited if the "s" and/or "&" tricks don't do it.
