I'm looking for a front spoiler extension (splitter/lip) I'm leaning towards the one from Valence. Is there anything else out there I should I consider?

I don't need carbon fiber as I intend to paint it.

I had a carbon fiber one (installed by previous owner...looked GREAT)... I'd recommend getting the front skid plates from Ricambi at the same time to protect the lip....I didn't get them first and had a good bit of the lip shaved. Skip plates helped save the lip after install.

I already have the Hill skid plates.

Skid plates would be wise, I wish I had gotten them as well.

Yep.... I had it painted in satin black. It comes in a black fiberglass color. They were very helpful. About $275 shipped and then $100 for the paint job locally. I really like it

Just to add, I don't think you can stick the skid plates on if you have the lip spoiler

I have the Valence. Mine has skid plates built into it.

Beware, there have been stories posted about Valence not being responsive in filling orders. Not sure if this was or still is an issue (I bought my car with it already installed).

Can you guys post how they are mounted?

Reason being, on my front lip, where the skid plates would normally attach, that part is missing due to excessive scrapes from a previous owner.

pm (or openly ask based on recent posts about PMing) MDSassaman ... he has a speciale that didn't come with the front spoiler lip. He sourced some plastic and installed it himself. Looks very good.

I swear I saw a post somewhere recently for an OEM 348 spoiler but I can't seem to locate it. Ebay is where I thought I saw it but I'm not seeing it there. right now.

You are able to....I added my skid plates after the lip was already on. Skids don't fit exactly as intended, but its quite close. Lip spoiler does still stick out some too.

You can see in the photo how I had already damaged the lip (I've a steep drive). Never got scratched again after the skid plates.

Been toying with plates for my SS. My oem lip is taking a beating. Not sure how easily they'd install.
