It sounds amazing. I was afraid it would sound like the F12/FF which sound good but a little too metallic. THis has guts.

that is quite the soundtrack. Love the high rev scream against the low ref grunt.

I love the sound of the Laferrari but I have to say I love the sound of the Enzo a lot more. What would have made the Laferrari a lot more special for me is if it made the exhaust sound like the old school LM cars, kind of like the Enzo but with it's own new accent to it. That, would have been awesome. This one sounds annoying after listening to it for to long. IMHO.

The sound of the LaFerrari is more high pitched and aggressive. The Enzo had straight pipes and it still lacked the scream of the LaFerrari.

The Enzo never sounded high pitched which is great. It sounds like a 1970's Le Mans car. It growls. The Aventador sounds similar. It's a great sound.

The LaF does have some of that growl but is more high pitched yet does not seem to have the metallic sound of theFF or F12 (again great.).

I heard a LaFerrari accelerate live and, whilst it sounds good (better than an F12), IMO the 599 GTO sounds even better (and seems louder).

Each year my buddies and I get together to watch "The Isle of Man" in the comfort of our home. That is one of the most insane motor spectacles on the planet. Those men have b-lls the size of my living room.

I would love to know what those men eat for breakfast. There's a gentleman by the name of John McGuinness who I believe is in his forties that has won that event a number of times. Just an incredible feat. That would really be something to see live. Sorry for the derail.

I just learned the P1's vehicle lift system uses the car's variable height hydro-pneumatic suspension, which is pretty cool in that it adds no additional weight. I had it on my 458 which added about 30kg iirc.

Was re-watching top gear with the p1 tonight and the car looked really nervous on corner exit, as if you could see the individual rear brakes slowly reacting. I think it could really do with a proper electronic limited slip diff, especially on the wet.

    The Laferrari sounds awesome.

For the honesty of this thread yes I believe the P1 will be hard to beat it got everything right but I like all the cars they just like different kind of candys.

So please who bought one of the cars above or a fan calm down take and upload some pictures.

Enjoy your cars no matter what.....

Let ferrari, Mclaren, Porsche handles marketing and media I'm sure the finishing product from any one of them will be revolutionary

explain nervous? maybe you need more-enannies

mcLaren's diff is lighter, has lower cog and better control to e-diff: see The McLaren P1 Test. On Road and Track - /CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS - YouTube skip to 25:00

e-diff's can be very nervous too: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMDVMp3CbdY]LaFerrari SPIN OUT, Spitting Flames & Huge Sounds! - YouTube[/ame]

for a refresher on brake steering see: Banned: McLaren's rear brake pedal - F1 Fanatic

driving in the wet is not a major concern for any of these cars

That wasn't the diff being twitchy, it was Kimi being silly. He did the same thing last Saturday on the F1 qualifying session. Anyway, jusdging the 458 vs 12C, the proper diff is the superior solution.
