Is LaFerrari still in developement? Were there any deliveries of clients cars?

 

Yes and a whole bunch more this April May as a friend of mine wanted to collect his 458 from the Factory and was told he had to wait.

I love watching TT races. Is there any other race, bike or car that is anywhere near as intense? Even a distant second, I would be interested in.

Those 911 turbo's are incredible. Frustratingly, they put most Ferrari's to shame as well...atleast from a numbers perspective.

 

A McLaren P1 has just arrived in Beverly Hills - seems to be the first one here so far.

Why is it frustrating?
Because Ferrari engineers are behind the times against a car $100k less than 458's?

That's a GT2RS in that video I believe. Lighter weight. Larger turbos. 2 wheel drive.



Without reading the last 25 pages had Mac released a video and Time yet?

 

No. It's a 991 Turbo.

 

In the mclarenlife forum is posting a video of a mclaren P1 doing a hot lap in the top gear track, obviously the car could do a better lap time, but I am a bit disappointed because the time is aprox 1:15 but with a running starting, so the time should be aprox 3 seconds worse with a static starting. The car looks fast but isn't a car of another planet like some magazine drivers want appears it.

Not the best color combo imo.

 

Earlier laps of Dunsfold which have also been posted to YT were done in 1:12-1:13. Some things to keep in mind while you benchrace these times against others - this is happening with two people in the car, a moderate amount of fuel on board and the drivers were not demonstrating full 10/10ths with these passengers on board. Here's one of the earlier recordings of a customer preview lap - some time was clearly lost at the Hammerhead in this one:

Yes, definitely Jay Leno's car. He'll have the car soon, I am sure. The video we all look forward to is probably just a couple of weeks away.

He wanted it to match the production car that was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013.

Yes I remember him saying that on some video. Maybe with silver wheels...

 

Haven't seen the rear wing yet but it seems the only outward change is the caliper color.
