All I'd like to see is proof that Ferrari have confirmed in writing that Jim Glickenhaus has resurrected 0846 on its original chassis, as he has stated.
Probably not half as much as I would like to see proof that Ferrari has confirmed in writing that 0858 is a P4.
Is there a reason this thread is still open? There really is no debate anymore as to the history of this car, other than in MiuraSV's mind, and the questions are getting tiresome and repetitive. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
You seem to not get the fact that Napolis owes you nothing. Keep counting those days - the rest of us had knowledge of the info you claim to need to be satisfied (yeah right! ) years and years ago. Wise old saying "You catch more flies with honey than vinegar" but your approach to this subject has been caustic and aggressive since you started on this tirade. If this were a trial you'd have long ago been censured for badgering the witness. You've dug this so deep that you've all but rendered your own opinion worthless in the process. Not entirely clear what sparked this whole vendetta for you, but it's really quite sad and doing your already failing reputation zero favors. Maybe you are no one's puppet - perhaps more aptly labeled a buffoon? >8^) ER
Really? Then perhaps you could provide the proof that Ferrari have confirmed in writing that Jim has resurrected 0846 on its original chassis, as he has stated????
It is not everyone else's fault that you choose to discount the Ferrari Owner's site confirmation. For the 99% with any inkling to care about this subject that's plenty good enough to be 'in writing' evidence. Safe to say that would not have happened (even for Jim's personal amusement as you seemed to suggest ) if the company had any doubts about what was within the actual four walls of Jim's garage. Also the idea that the Owner's section of their website needs to have public access for the information presented there to have some merit is also a laughable claim. I guess for some it would be nice if they published the owner's information on all their cars, but many owners might see that differently. Anyway... >8^) ER
Sure. As soon as you can get Ferrari to confirm in writing that 0858 is a P4. Once you can make that happen I'm sure Napolis will send you what you need. Till then 0858 is what we all know it is, a 350 Can Am. How's that for fair?
Entertainment is the word, not amusement. Now please get your facts right and check the web site for the spirit in which it has been formed. Hmmm. We don't even have any proof that 0846 is in Jim's "My Ferrari, Your Garage" section of the Owners' Site. It's only what he himself has published. Ferrari have actually published nothing regarding the ownership of Ferrari 330 P3/4 0846 as he has been misinforming everyone for years.
What pic is up of 0858 on The Ferrari Owners site? If the owner can make up whatever he wants, I'm guessing the picture is of a busted lip P4? Is Pipers 0900 allowed on the site? If not then why is Napolis's car allowed on the site? Very funny that you argue that 0858 is a real P4 but don't feel the need to offer up any proof from Ferrari that it is, but yet you demand proof from Ferrari that 0846 is 0846. Which is it? Is a car what Ferrari says it is or not. For god sakes, pick a side man. At least in the case of 0858 Ferrari states that it is a 350 CAN AM and is not a P4 so at least based on your logic we can finally be clear on that one. I want the proof! Send me the proof! What is it about the truth that bugs you so much? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMzd40i8TfA[/ame] One down. One to go.
David Piper and the owner of 0858 have class and are not so insecure that they feel a need to tell the world what they have and therefore publish nothing from the Owners' Site.
Whether you care to see it or not, you have accused Jim of lying about where that information exists. You should probably stop doing that, but we know you won't. >8^) ER
But.... could they? Cause after-all your "sincere" intention in all of this is just to figure out if Napolis's car is really 0846, so any way you could do that should be of great interest to you. You know, to get down to the real truth. Lets say, for arguments sake. that they are "classless and insecure" like Napolis and they want to let the world know... could they both publish that they own Ferrari P4's? Since you have the inside track to how the site works I'm sure you can figure this out. You'd be able to get down to the bottom of a bunch of mysteries all at once... 1) is 0846... 0846? 2) is 0858 a P4? 3) is Pipers 0900 even considered a Ferrari? To be honest with you, you saying that Napolis is "classless and Insecure" and that Piper is not, points out, to me at least, that this is more about you picking sides and wanting to drag Napolis through the mud in support of your attempt at hopeful job prospects than it has to do if you actually care if 0846 is real or not. I do find this funny though, seeing that you say Napolis is the only one that can see it? How is he letting the world know if he is the only "classless and insecure" guy that can see it???? Awaiting your thorough and "honest" research on this one....
And now JG is a classless liar.... Funny ****, man... Has Jim purchased a license to use Ferrari's trademarks? Because, you know, their NOT suing him for constantly using their trademarks in important car shows, as well as all over the web, in relation to 0846...that HAS to be proof that they are OK with the car, hasn't it? I mean, since 2002, this has been the case so... Just leaves us with only one logical conclusion, right? I mean... Even the Italian Legal System which is notorious for crushing replicas, now they would have something to say about this right if that car wasn't 0846... but.... no.... So that has to be PRETTY ******* CONVINCING EVIDENCE right? No? What about a 140 page document with comprehensive disclosure? Now that, that SURELY must work but.... no.... Better get a letter written by someone at the company who probably has no fuking idea what a P3/4 is...right... That's the only way this'll be proven... And of course this idiotic discussion wasn't re-started by someone with a VERY PERSONAL bone to pick with the classless person they are hilariously not getting any response from... Of course not...
You called Jim a classless bastard. I'd be very careful if I was you. Err, it's Jim who is the one who is publishing the fact that his car is in the Owners site, and not Ferrari who are publishing the fact. Don't you understand the difference? Silly question really.
BY THE WAY, ARE YOU ****TING ME ABOUT DAVID PIPER HAVING CLASS AFTER THE MARK HALES DEBACLE? THOSE MUST BE SOME AMAZING DRUGS YOU'RE TAKING MAN... Selective reasoning and all that....
Please point out where I said Jim was a classless liar. You've lost the plot and are using foul language. Disgusting!
Sorry, I'm young. This is where you implied that Jim is a classless liar: I better stop posting in this thread, I might use more foul language...
Jim has only made note of the fact that they published it to their website. Don't you understand the difference? Silly question really. See - we can all play these stupid games. >8^) ER
No, he did more than that. He published copies of the web pages. See page 45 - 46 and 111 - 112 of his 0846 pdf.
